2014 Event Recap Part 2
Village at War - Stoke Bruerne
Time to travel back in time now for something a little different
Every September Stoke Bruerne commemorates WWII with what can be described as a living museum of WWII re-enactments with some very realistic looking figures from the war. Lots of wartime songs were sung and it really repoduced the wartime spirit
Sywell Classic - Pistons and Props
More air based action now but this time with classic cars and bikes on the ground too.
This was only its second year but the show put on a fantastic spectacle
You can also see a video I created of Don Scott in his Plymouth SuperBird
Fueltopia Barrel Sprint
Back to Santa Pod once again and this time for the Fuletopia Barrel Sprint
For those that don't know what this is it is a cross between drag racing, gymkhana and drifiting where anybody can take part and have to complete the circuit in the quickest time. The circuit is a set of barrels and cones set up that the drivers have to negotiate in in a specific pattern.
You can see some video of Jake Archer in action here
